Ontray App Interview with Small Business Saturday

Please watch our Small Business Saturday Marketing Interview with the Ontray Food App in Philadelphia.

Momentum Digital is back with another episode of Small Business Saturday, where we highlight a deserving company in the greater Philadelphia area. This Saturday we sat down with Tyler Wiest, the owner of the Ontray App, a new online food ordering platform.

Ontray Inc. is a Philadelphia startup and spinout from n3rd street anchor, and Jarvus Innovations. The Ontray App has one clear mission, to give restaurants the power of online food ordering without giving up their brand equity to marketplaces like GrubHub and Caviar.

Ontray App also provides restaurants a tailored brand experience, while still remaining on the marketplaces for additional marketing exposure. Take for example  Salvatore Saladino, owner of Trios Fresh Italian located in  Northern Liberties,  Trios participates in most of the major marketplaces however he favors his Ontray site the most.

According to Sal, “I like the fact that it’s a local company and I’m dealing with real people,” said Salvatore. “[Ontray] is not only more profitable but there’s better brand recognition because people are seeing Trios when they order as opposed to GrubHub or another company. When they go to other websites like GrubHub, they have the opportunity to order from anybody, not just me.”

If you’re in the FoodBizz and are looking to expand your online options, give Ontray a ring.
