How Users Find Information in 2025: Search Engines vs. AI Chatbots

Search Engines vs. AI Chatbots

How Consumers Find Information: Search Engines vs. AI Chatbots

In the last few months, I’ve had the same conversation with clients, colleagues, and fellow marketers more times than I can count. It usually starts like this:

“Hey, is SEO still worth it now that everyone’s using AI?”

It’s a fair question. In 2025, AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Felo AI aren’t just fringe tools — they’re quickly becoming part of people’s daily search habits. The way users find answers is evolving, and naturally, marketers are wondering if traditional SEO is becoming obsolete.

The short answer? No, SEO isn’t dead. But it’s changing.

So let’s not panic but instead analyze what’s really happening. Here’s why SEO still matters (a lot) and how to adjust your strategy without throwing out everything you’ve built.

This guide will walk you through how users find information in 2025 by comparing Search Engines vs. AI Chatbots, and what it means for your marketing strategy.

Search vs. Chatbots in 2025: Deeper Look at Data

As of Q2 2025, Cisco Umbrella’s DNS rankings show a very noticeable drop in traffic to suggestqueries.google.com. That’s the endpoint powering Google’s autocomplete feature, a small but primary cog in the search engine machine.

In simple terms, if fewer people are triggering that endpoint, it probably means fewer people are typing into a search bar and picking from suggestions.

Naturally, chatbot traffic is rising as search engines’ traffic falls. Tools like Perplexity and ChatGPT are seeing year-over-year traffic growth north of 120%. These platforms are faster, more direct, and for many use cases just “good enough.”

It’s no longer just Gen Z asking ChatGPT to write code or summarize PDFs. It’s your average user asking what the best standing desk is, how to cook lentils, or whether they should visit Lisbon or Porto. And instead of getting a list of ten blue links, they get one confident, conversational answer in seconds.

How do you prefer to search and browse: Search Engines vs. AI Chatbots?

google vs chatgpt

What That Means for SEO

So, does all that mean SEO is now dead? No, SEO isn’t dead. But it’s now competing with a new layer of user behavior that didn’t exist several years ago.

Here’s the nuance that rarely makes it into the headlines: search traffic is still much, much bigger than chatbot traffic. In March 2025, search engines saw an estimated 1.86 trillion monthly visits. AI chatbots? Around 55 billion. The gap might be shrinking, but it’s still a massive gap.

So, how are AI chatbots stealing search engines’ traffic if they aren’t as popular? By answering low-intent and timely queries like:

  • What’s the capital of Uzbekistan?
  • How do I calculate CAGR?
  • Explain taxes to a 10-year-old.

These are the types of queries where users don’t want options — they want answers. Chatbots do that better than Google ever did.

But that’s not all search. High-intent, research, and commercial queries are still in high demand when it comes to traditional search engines. AI hasn’t replaced the experience of scanning SERPs, opening a few tabs, comparing features, reading reviews, and making a decision. And in many cases, especially with products and services, it can’t (yet).

This means your SEO strategy in 2025 needs to be two things:

  1. Smarter about the kinds of queries you’re targeting, and
  2. Aligned with how AI platforms are indexing and surfacing content, because yes, they’re scraping your site too.
What’s Actually Working in SEO Right Now

Let’s cut to the chase: here’s what I’ve seen working with clients in e-commerce, SaaS, and publishing in the past six months.

Structured, Semantic Content Is Winning

Google’s been saying it for years, but now it matters more than ever: content that’s structured, logically organized, and semantically rich gets more traction, not just in Google, but in AI-driven discovery tools too.

That means:

  • Headings that reflect the question intent
  • Paragraphs that directly answer those questions
  • Internal links that reinforce topical relevance
  • Schema markup that makes it easier to parse (FAQ, HowTo, Product)

Why does this matter? Because AI tools are essentially building a web of understanding from your content. The clearer and more helpful your content is, the more likely you are to be cited in AI answers — even if the traffic doesn’t come through traditional clicks.

Search Engines vs. AI Chatbots
Brand and Trust Signals Are Making a Comeback

In an era of hallucinated answers and spammy AI content, users are looking for trust again.

More people are asking, “Where did this information come from?” — and when they see your name, it needs to mean something. This is where brand authority comes into play. Not just domain rating or backlinks, but real-world associations: author bios, consistent branding, media mentions, original research.

E-E-A-T isn’t just Google policy anymore. It’s becoming the heuristic by which all AI systems sort the credible from the questionable. If you want to be included in Perplexity or ChatGPT-generated answers, your brand needs to show up as reputable, consistent, and reliable across the board.

Diversifying Beyond Google Is a Real Priority

For the first time in over a decade, Google’s market share in search has dipped below 90%. It’s not a collapse, but it is a crack.

Marketers are finally waking up to the idea that Bing matters. So do privacy-centric engines like DuckDuckGo. And we can’t ignore the quiet rise of platforms like Perplexity, which now offer ad slots and brand citations.

We’re starting to test Perplexity Ads for some clients, and early results are promising, especially for top-of-funnel discovery. The targeting isn’t perfect, but the intent is high. People asking AI, “What’s the best XYZ?” are very close to buying; they just need to see your name appear in the right context.

Rethinking KPIs in The Era of AI Chatbots

This is something no one really wants to say out loud, but: your clickthrough rates will go down, even if your rankings don’t.

AI is creating a good experience before users can even reach your site. Chatbots summarize, paraphrase, and often answer without ever needing to link. Google’s AI Overviews (formerly SGE) do the same.

That means the traditional SEO KPI of clicks from search is becoming less useful as a north star.

Instead, we need to start tracking:

  • Brand mentions in AI-generated responses
  • Citation frequency in tools like Perplexity and You.com
  • Zero-click engagement (e.g., featured snippets, voice search responses)
  • Post-view behavior (Are users who do click staying longer? Buying more?)

We’re entering an influence > traffic phase. You might get fewer sessions but more qualified ones. It’s counterintuitive, but it can be better for business. That is, if you’re measuring the right things.

Is SEO Still Worth It in 2025?

Let’s not sugarcoat it: SEO in 2025 is more complicated than ever. It’s slower, more competitive, and increasingly abstracted from the user journey.

But it’s still one of the few marketing channels that:

  • Compounds over time
  • Builds brand equity
  • Drives high-intent discovery
  • Works across multiple platforms (not just Google)

What’s changed is how you define success — and how you design your content to work across an ecosystem of search engines and AI tools.

If you’re still creating SEO content like it’s 2017 — keyword-heavy, link-chasing, thin “ultimate guides” — then yes, SEO is probably a bad investment for you in 2025.

But if you’re building a site that:

  • Answers real user questions
  • Demonstrates expertise
  • Builds brand trust
  • Plays well with both human readers and machine summarizers…
Is ChatGPT Plus Worth It

A Final Word

The rise of AI doesn’t mean search is going away. It means discovery is changing. The lines are blurrier, and the user journey is messier.  And of course, pretending that’s not happening is a great way to waste your small business’s budget.

As an SEO specialist, you must remember that users still want to learn, compare, decide, and buy. They’re just doing it in more ways, across more platforms, and with different expectations.

Does Google Penalize AI Content in 2025?

Thoughts & Takeaways: Does Google Penalize AI Content?

Is AI Content Penalized

AI-Powered Content Creation: Does Google Penalize AI Content in 2025?

AI-generated content remains as controversial as it is widespread in 2025’s digital marketing scene, with tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, and Writesonic taking the lead. But one question keeps bothering all small business owners and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialists still:

Does Google penalize AI content in 2025?

The short answer is no, not necessarily. But the long answer is where things get interesting and a tad risky. Here’s everything you must know about Google’s policies about AI content in 2025.

This guide covers the role of AI Content in 2025 and how it performs on Google Search!

Google’s Approach to AI-Generated Content in 2025

So we know that Google doesn’t penalize content just because it’s generated by AI. But what exactly does it think of such content? Well, here on their Google Search’s guidance about AI-generated content, Google has explicitly stated:

“Google’s ranking systems aim to reward original, high-quality content… rather than how content is produced.”

Meaning the real issue lies in the said content’s quality, originality, and user value. Naturally, Google’s evolving policies now focus on what the content does, not who or what created it. So this year, remember the following two most important ranking criteria for Google.

#1 Evolving Policies and Core Updates

During recent years, including during the March and August 2024 core updates, Google reinforced that content quality trumps content origin. AI-written material that:

  • Offers clear, actionable insights
  • Provides unique value
  • Meets E-E-A-T standards (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness)

…is just as eligible to rank well as human-written content.

However, beware of low-effort AI content created just to game the algorithm. That’s dangerous and highly prone to deindexation, especially with updates in Google’s spam policies.

#2 User Experience (UX) Signals

Just like how queries are now taken in context, AI content isn’t evaluated in isolation. Google considers the context and how users interact with it first, then decides what to do with it. Here, by user experience factors, I mean:

  • Dwell time: If users stay and engage, it’s a good sign.
  • Bounce rate: Quick exits can hurt your credibility.
  • Core Web Vitals: Page load time, visual stability, and interactivity make up your Core Web Vitals’ triangle.

Human reviewers, known as search engines’ Quality Raters, also assess your grammar, structure, clarity, and overall presentation.

AI CONTENT SEO
5 AI Content Mistakes That Trigger Penalties

While AI tools are powerful, it’s easy to forget that they’re just that: tools. Here are seven red flags that can mean you’re misusing generative AI and might get penalized by search engines.

#1 Low-Quality or Spammy Content

Google’s SpamBrain system has evolved to detect mass-produced, low-effort content. If AI is used to flood pages with thin, irrelevant, or repetitive information, expect penalties. SpamBrain alone has helped reduce spam in search by over 40%.

#2 Lack of Originality and Depth

When everyone uses the same tools and templates, content starts looking eerily similar. Google notices:

  • Repetitive phrasing
  • Surface-level info with no added perspective
  • Lack of unique data or storytelling

According to BrightEdge, 85% of marketers saw ranking boosts when using original insights over generic AI content.

#3 Weak E-E-A-T Signals

Google ranks content with strong Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trust. AI text lacking cited sources, expert opinions, or deeper insights and analysis is more at risk of dropping in rankings. This is especially the case in sensitive industries like health or finance.

#4 Poor User Engagement Metrics

Pages with high bounce rates and low time-on-site are bad news and as a small business owner, you know why. These metrics signal to Google that users aren’t finding value on your webpages.

Even if the content checks SEO boxes, a reader who isn’t interested enough to stay for more than mere seconds on your website is a red flag!

#5 Lack of Visuals or Interactive Elements

Anyone who has ever worked with generative AI knows how they like to write blocks of boring and plain text. However, users (and Google) aren’t going to be happy with just that, meaning you must create more engaging experiences.

According to HubSpot, articles with images get 94% more views than those without. Videos, infographics, statistics, and charts can boost retention and shout content quality to search engines.

Can Google Detect AI-Generated Content?

The short answer is yes, to an extent.

Using tools like Originality.ai, SEO teams studied 487 high-competition keywords. Their findings showed that:

  • 83% of top results were NOT AI-generated
  • Pages using 100% AI content were often deindexed after spam updates

One SEO example involved generating content with ChatGPT for “SEO training Houston.” It ranked initially but was removed after a core update. Once replaced with human-written content, the page re-entered the top 10.

As you see, being detected for using AI isn’t really the problem here. The problem arises once low quality is combined with AI.

Google likely uses behavioral signals and machine learning to flag low-effort AI text, rather than outright targeting AI content. Google’s own spam policies clarify:

  • “Using automation—including AI—to generate content with the primary purpose of manipulating ranking in search results is a violation.”

But also:

  • “Not all use of automation, including AI generation, is spam… Automation has long been used to generate helpful content, such as weather forecasts and sports scores.”

So again, the key is intent and execution.

CHATGPT FOR SEO 2025
The Right Way to Use AI for Content Creation

Sure, AI can be a nice creative assistant, but not a replacement for strategy, research, or quality control. First and foremost, it’s how you use it that matters and not the tool itself. So, use it right by adhering to these tips:

  • Plan your content manually: Use AI to help structure or brainstorm, not to decide your topics blindly.
  • Write a great prompt: Tailor AI output by using clear, specific prompts.
  • Edit and fact-check thoroughly: Don’t trust raw AI output—revise for tone, flow, and accuracy.
  • Add human perspective: Inject your experiences, opinions, and voice.
  • Optimize for users, not bots: Prioritize clarity and helpfulness over keyword density.
Get Started with AI Content for Google!

Here’s a final phrase for you to ponder: Google doesn’t hate AI, it hates bad content. What truly matters is originality, helpfulness, and people-first content that meets the standards of E-E-A-T.

So, if you’re using AI to support high-quality writing that genuinely serves users, you’re playing by the rules.

What’s your take on AI-generated content and SEO?

6 AI and Machine Learning Impacts on Search Algorithms

Marketers: Prepare for 2025-26 by studying 6 Impacts of Artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning on Search Results (SEO)

AI Machine Learning SEO

Currently, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is still one of the most important parts of digital marketing. However, a small business must consider the impacts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) on SEO for 2025 if you wish to stay in the competition.

Before we study these impacts, let’s understand how AI and machine learning relate to SEO in 2025 and beyond.

AI and Machine Learning: SEO for 2025

We all use AI. It’s literally taking over everything talked about online. I mean I’m sure you’ve used ChatGPT at some point.

AI and Machine Learning have certainly shaped and reshaped many algorithms and trends since their integration in search engines like Google. But before studying these changes let’s understand how these technologies actually work.

AI and ML let search engines process and interpret queries more accurately than ever before. Certain AI-powered algorithms, including Google’s RankBrain and BERT, now interpret queries by finding relevance between the terms searched and finding context for them. Natural language is also more understandable for search engines thanks to these technologies.

In 2025, we expect AI to refine these search algorithms to make results even more precise. Features like Google’s Multitask Unified Model (MUM), a framework that’s 1,000 times more powerful than BERT, will lead this trend. This upcoming feature will analyze text, images, and even videos simultaneously to provide better results for users.

So what does all this mean for your small business? It means re-examining your old SEO strategies to stay relevant. Whether it’s optimizing your content for voice search or refreshing old backlinks, the start of 2025 seems like an ideal time to make some changes.

With that, here are 6 AI and ML impacts on SEO algorithms in 2025 to lookout for.

Voice Search and Visual Search

I’m actually using Voice Search more often these days. What about you?

So now that our natural use of language is more understandable for machines, it’s only fair to see voice and image searches increase online. People are less patient than ever and want answers quickly, don’t you?

Your small business must optimize content for this natural use of language. Focus on long-tail keywords and conversational content with personal insights if you wish to align with how people use voice search.

Adding clear, descriptive alt tags and metadata is also a must for better visibility among search result pages.

E-A-T and AI: Maintaining Authority in an AI-Driven Landscape

With AI and ML finding ways to get involved in every aspect of our lives, it’s only natural to see AI-generated content more than before. But be careful, you need to do this in a smart and accurate way. So avoid certain tactics because your content will have adverse effects if ….

  • It is not fact-checked
  • It doesn’t add any value to readers
  • It doesn’t include citations or credible sources
  • It’s overloaded with keywords
  • It doesn’t show expertise
  • Or it lacks the cohesiveness to answer queries

So be careful how you present yourself to search engines’ now more-than-ever.

Predictive Search and Personalized Results

You might have noticed that search engines are now offering more predictive search suggestions. These suggestions pop up right before users complete their queries and are based on user behavior, preferences, and past searches and interactions.

What does this mean for your small business? It means you should be optimizing content for personalized searches relying on data analytics, behavioral tracking, and user engagement metrics.

I’m assuming you already have a profile for your target audience. In 2025, try expanding upon that profiling to encompass several customer categories. Focus on quality over quality and targeting very specific users with your new content.

Google Instantly Indexes New Content

Okay, so this isn’t true lol.

First things first, remember that indexing and ranking are separate processes. Search engines like Google do prioritize fresh content for time-sensitive topics (like breaking news or product launches). However, general blog posts can take days or weeks to be indexed.

Yet, there are some things you can do to make this indexing faster:

With that, here are a few tips:

  • Submit new URLs to Google Search Console to request indexing
  • Use internal linking to guide crawlers to new content faster
  • Put real effort into technical SEO (noindex tags, canonical issues, and sitemaps affect indexing).
  • Publish consistently to appear more authoritative with search engines.
AI and the Evolution of Local SEO

Thanks to AI and ML, search engines’ local SEO metrics now work sharper and smarter than ever. For example, Google’s AI algorithms will consider hyperlocal data, real-time updates, and even voice search queries in 2025 so they deliver the most relevant results.

What are small businesses to do? Here are a few suggestions:

  • Optimize your Google Business Profile with updated information often.
  • Add high-quality organic images taken by you
  • Add customer reviews to your social accounts, especially your GBP
  • Encourage interactions by adding chatbots or online assistants

Link Building and Authority Signals

Now of course backlinks are still important ranking factors for search engines, but like with everything else, AI is changing how search engines assess their value. It’s been a while since your backlinks’ count doesn’t matter as much as the quality and authority of the said backlinks. However, AI and ML have now boosted search engines’ power to pinpoint and demote these links.

It’s time to show search engines you have earned those high authority backlinks through honest efforts! Some such examples are:

  • Guest blogging
  • Digital PR
  • Industry collaborations
  • Paid Press Articles

Ethical Considerations in AI-Driven SEO

As AI and ML continue to affect SEO, ethical concerns will arise. People are now becoming paranoid regarding data privacy, misinformation, and whats true/real. Search engines are prioritizing transparency, and small businesses such as yours must now examine their strategies more closely than ever to meet guidelines.

Here’s a short list of some serious red flags you should stay away from:

  • Deceptive AI-generated content
  • Unregulated use of AI
  • Ignoring search engines’ quality guidelines
  • Leaking users data to language models
  • Forgoing user privacy guidelines

Be careful trying to take shortcuts with marketing, SEO and AI. Focus on quality over quantity and make sure to review your sources.

In 2025, search engines like Bing and Google can bring more relevant and personalized search results to users with great accuracy. Thanks to new technologies like MUM, these results are getting more and more polished with time, making 2025’s early months ideal to catch up with the trends of the time.

Affordable SEO Strategies for Small Businesses in 2025

Learn about the most Affordable SEO Strategies for Small Business Growth!

affordable SEO

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) can feel like an expensive puzzle for small businesses. The high costs and lack of guaranteed results is indeed a scary combo. But here’s the truth: effective SEO doesn’t have to drain your budget. By the end of this article, you will understand how affordable SEO strategies for small businesses work and why effective rank climbing doesn’t have to be costly.

If you’re a small business owner like me then you can relate to how expensive and difficult marketing your business can be. So read below to learn more about how we save money on SEO marketing.

SEO on Budget: A Modern Resolution

Do you like saving money and being efficient with your time? Good, me too!

If you’re struggling with budgetary restrictions then maybe it will bring you some comfort to know that 34% of businesses struggle with similar limited funds for tools and resources. But that’s not the end of your online journey, not yet.

Think of SEO as a long-term strategy that changes and adapts to more than 200 different factors. In fact, this landscape requires you to study and analyze these changes and factors, not to spend more money.

In other words, picking a few effective strategies and sticking to them will do you a lot more good than spending thousands on insane SEO tools that advertise indisputable success.

Below are 6 (Effective) and Affordable SEO strategies for small businesses.

Free & Affordable Keyword Research Tools

Effective keyword research doesn’t have to cost a fortune. But at the risk of sounding apprehensive, the lack of an effective keyword research plan will surely cost your small business a fortune!

Here are some tools that offer excellent value for small businesses:

  • Google Keyword Planner: Free tool for keyword suggestions, search volume, and competition data.
  • Ubersuggest: Free tool for a limited number of keyword ideas, search volume insights, and SEO difficulty scores.
  • AnswerThePublic: Generates keyword ideas by analyzing commonly searched questions and phrases.

Tip: Focus on niche-specific long-tail keywords. For example, instead of targeting “pet shops,” aim for “pet shops in downtown with express delivery.”

Personally I’m a huge fan on Neil Patel and UberSuggest because it has a FREE Version, it’s easy to use, and it works really well for SEO Audits and Keyword Research. Neil is a legend when it comes to SEO. Neil if you see this, give me a backlink!!

Get Backlinks for Free

Backlinks are essential for building domain authority which has a direct and positive correlation to your keyword rankings and growth. It’s vital, but trust me, it aint easy!

Nothing signals the search engines that you’re creating valuable, relevant, and authentic content more than your backlinks. It’s understandable why small businesses might shy away from link-building due to the rising costs.

But news flash: you can check competitors’ backlinks and create your own without spending a single buck. Here are some ways to build quality backlinks for free:

Guest Blogging

Writing guest posts for reputable blogs in your niche is a foolproof way to earn backlinks while showing off your expertise and experience. Start by:

  • Identifying blogs or websites relevant to your industry.
  • Reaching out with suitable pitches and good content ideas.
  • Including a link back to your website.

Tip: Focus on blogs with high domain authority (DA) to get the best results.

Be Present in Online Communities

Forums, Q&A platforms, and social media groups are treasure troves for link-building opportunities:

  • Give valuable answers on platforms like Quora and Reddit and link to your site where possible.
  • Be present in niche forums where your audience is, and share your content without being too salesy.
  • Your LinkedIn presence matters. Share your blog posts in relevant LinkedIn groups.

Network With Local Businesses

Collaborating with other small businesses in your area is probably the most affordable way to create win-win backlink opportunities. Here are some ideas:

  • Exchange links by featuring each other’s websites on resource pages.
  • Partner on local campaigns or events that link to both websites.
  • Share positive testimonials for them and ask them to do the same for you.

Those are 3 solid and Affordable SEO Strategies for Backlinking. Do it.

Tap Into Your Existing Audience

Just a tap. A little nudge. You know, reaching out to people you know and platforms you already use can provide some quick and easy wins for SEO.

You’d be surprised to know that your customers are your best source of keyword ideas, FAQs, and content topics. Use their feedback and questions to curate your SEO strategy and expand on your strong points.

Polling your social media followers is another way of finding potential topic ideas. Your clients and customers are the people searching. So just find out what and how they go about searching and then implement those tactics into your website, content and SEO.

Be Consistent and Patient

I’m not a very patient person, BUT you have to be patient when it comes to SEO. It’s the long game.

This will probably sound a bit cliche but there’s a reason cliches exist: SEO isn’t a sprint; it’s a marathon. Regular updates and consistent effort are key to success, doesn’t matter how big or small your business may be.

Think of SEO as a snowball effect: the momentum builds over time, bringing about bigger results. That’s why you must always:

  • Publish fresh, high-quality content regularly.
  • Audit and update old pages to ensure they remain relevant.
  • Keep engaging with your audience through social media and email campaigns.

I love to refer to the gym/fitness example when it comes to search. Sure, you can take steroids (paid google search ads) to get fast and easy results, but its expensive, and doesnt last, and can you really trust it. OR you can play it safe and smart with the long-term strategy with consistency, just like going to the gym every day, and ranking and improving more organically. Pick your poison!

Measure Your Efforts

Can you really ever know if SEO is working if you arent tracking the data and analytics?

Tracking your progress can literally be your biggest hit-or-miss factor. Thanks to the AI-driven world we live in today, it’s now easier than ever to analyze your progress with free tools like:

  • Google Analytics: Monitor traffic, user behavior, and demographics.
  • Google Search Console: Evaluate your site’s performance in search results and identify improvement areas.
  • SEMRush & UberSuggest

In our previous article we talk about Affordable AI SEO Tools that can be used for SEO Tracking & Reporting as well.

Partner With an Affordable SEO Agency

You should hire us — Momentum Digital. No, but seriously, if you can afford it, you should definitely consider hiring an SEO Marketing Agency, especially if you don’t know what you’re doing when it comes to SEO.

When choosing your ideal service provider, nothing is more important than finding a partner who truly understands your position. In the case of SEO, you don’t want to look for flashy promises of huge success with a giant master plan. Instead, look for small agencies that prioritize customizable plans tailored to your specific needs and budget.

Here are some handy tips to think of the next time you’re in the market for affordable SEO services:

  • Look for SEO packages that work with your target audience
  • Hire an agency that is affordable and hopefully local
  • Pick an agency with good reviews and SEO case studies
  • Do your research and talk to their previous clients
  • Have them perform some initial audits and research
  • Pay only if they are doing good work and have a smart contract

Let me know if you disagree with any of those suggestions. Here at Momentum we can provide all of those.

Optimizing your web (or even social media) content is now easier than ever. Thanks to AI tools like SurferSEO and Clearscope, you can now access a thorough analysis of top-performing pages to see what makes them tick.

Ask AI for actionable insights on keyword placement, readability, content structure, and even content length based on analysis results, and get your small business a head start.

I highly recommend using SEO AI Tools for analyzing links and finding unique backlink strategies. We recently implemented this tactic for a fitness gym brand called Team85 to analyze and replicate some competitor links.

#3 Smart Keyword Research

AI tools may have completely revolutionized SEO, but they can’t do your keyword research for you. The process has, however, become smarter and easier than ever before….. and I like easy, dont you?

There are tools that crawl through oceans of content to identify trending keywords, relevant long-tail phrases, and user intent. For instance, Google’s RankBrain predicts which keywords deliver optimal results based on real-time behavior analysis. Learn more about RankBrain from Backlinko.

SEMRush is also a clear front runner in the SEO space and now has their own AI Keyword Research Tool we highly recommend.

#4 Voice Search Optimization

I dont use Voice Search a lot, but apparently other people do. Did you know that about 30% of people globally use voice search? This trend is especially bold with people aged 16 to 60, AKA where your main audience is. So maybe you should look into it.

Voice search is usually carried out through Siri, Alexa, and devices like Google Home. AI tools can help you adapt your content for conversational queries registered via these devices. This means your small business can rank for voice search results if you implement changes suggested by these AI tools.

Apparently this new platform Algolia is big into the SEO AI space with business tools like Voice Search AI … so maybe check them out.

#5 Predictive Analytics

What is Predictive Analysis anyways. Even I’m not so sure. Yet, I we can defer to articles like good ole’ Wikipedia that says …

Predictive analytics, or predictive AI, encompasses a variety of statistical techniques from data mining, predictive modeling, and machine learning that analyze current and historical facts to make predictions about future or otherwise unknown events

So, moving on, let’s just note that AI tools aren’t just good at crawling what’s already on the internet. They can, through algorithmic predictions, help small businesses foresee future trends and content needs too. This will give you a competitive edge in the market by giving you the means to predict your audiences’ needs and provide an answer in advance!

PredictHQ has a good platform for predictive analysis, and not just for SEO. So hey marketing team at PredictHQ. Let me know if you see this shoutout — can a brother get a backlink?
