Hyperlocal SEO: How to Win Your Neighborhood’s Search Results

Hyperlocal SEO: How to Win Your Neighborhood’s Search Results

Curious about mastering hyperlocal SEO for your business? This comprehensive guide will walk you through proven strategies to win your neighborhood’s search results, boost visibility, and attract more local customers.

If you’re a small business trying to rank in Google search, you’ve probably been told to “do local SEO.” And that’s great until you realize that, after all the effort, you’re still buried under franchise chains, irrelevant results, or businesses 30 miles away.

The hard truth is that local SEO marketing alone isn’t enough anymore. In 2025, you need to do more than that to secure the visibility you deserve. Introducing the era of hyperlocal SEO, where your very street address plays a factor in your search engine result pages (SERPs) ranking.

Let’s see how hyperlocal SEO works and what’s changed recently, thanks to Search Generative Experience (SGE) and local intent ranking shifts. Then we’ll see how small businesses can adapt and get the visibility they deserve.

Hyperlocal SEO Explained

Hyperlocal SEO is a focused local search strategy that helps businesses rank in search results tailored to a very specific geographic area. This could be your street, the nearest intersection, or just the neighborhood.

This is different from traditional local SEO, which might target a whole city or region. Hyperlocal SEO is about showing up when someone searches for:

  • “best dog groomer near Elmwood Park”

“vegan bakery on Main Street”

Win Your Neighborhood’s Search Results

Why Hyperlocal Matters in 2025

Let’s be real, nobody’s scrolling down three pages to find your shop. In fact, with Google’s SGE, many people aren’t clicking at all anymore. They’re scanning AI summaries, glancing at maps, or skimming Local Packs for fast info.

Well, the short answer is this new hyperlocal SEO update changes everything. But the long answer may be more complicated than that.

One thing is for certain, and that’s hyperlocal visibility isn’t about luck.  It is, instead, highly algorithmic. Here are just some of the factors affecting local rankings in 2025:

  • Search proximity now prioritizes real-time device location down to the street level.
  • Neighborhood-centric content is rewarded across Google Business Profile (GBP), Maps, and organic results.
  • SGE summaries increasingly pull from local sources, including business profiles, structured data, and hyperlocal reviews.
  • Community engagement signals (like local forum mentions or co-tagging with nearby venues) now count toward relevance scoring.

So it’s time to get with the times. Especially now that AI has entered the game and user behavior is shifting. Here are three important local search and user behavior trends in 2025:

  • Mobile-first habits have made people search “near me” even when they’re standing right next to what they want.
  • Google’s SGE now provides content that feels locally tailored, not just accurate, but contextual.
  • AI-assisted search tools now draw from neighborhood cues, reviews, schema, and user-generated content (UGC) to show better recommendations.

So, what does this mean for local businesses in 2025? How can they adapt and compete?

6 Hyperlocal SEO Tips for Small Business Owners

Hopefully, after understanding the SEO landscape in 2025, taking action on these six tips will be easy. These aren’t vague SEO tips but grounded hyperlocal strategies that you can start putting into practice today.

Win Your Neighborhood’s Search Results

#1 Beware of SGE’s Impact on Local SEO and Google Business Profiles

SGE often scrapes your Google Business Profile (GBP) to build those snappy AI summaries. That means your GBP is no longer just an optional profile; it’s a direct content source. So make sure to:

  • Fill out every GBP field completely.
  • Use keywords relevant to your immediate area (not just city-wide).
  • Keep your hours, services, and photos up to date weekly.

If your GBP is messy, outdated, or missing local signals, you’re invisible.

#2 Build Local Service Pages for Each Neighborhood You Serve

If you service more than one area, create a unique page for each. But please, don’t just clone the copy and swap out the name! Instead, there are several things you might want to do.

  • Talk about neighborhood-specific issues or needs.
  • Include testimonials from clients in that area.
  • Embed a custom Google Map for that location.
  • Mention hyperlocal terms like schools, intersections, or community centers.
  • Google wants to know you’re not just saying “we serve the area” but you actually understand it.
Win Your Neighborhood’s Search Results

#3 Don’t Ignore Voice Search & “Near Me” Keywords

Absolutely to no one’s surprise, most hyperlocal searches now happen via voice. And that happens often when users are busy with chores, walking, or driving.

Voice search queries often sound like:

  • “Find a cheap tailor near me open right now”
  • “Where can I get sushi on Bloor West”
  • “Closest locksmith in Chinatown that’s still open”

I recommend adjusting your content and metadata tone to reflect this natural language. The least it will do is make your website easier to browse!

#4 Target Long-Tail + Geo-Modifying Keywords

Nowadays, many people search the way they talk. And in hyperlocal SEO, that means using casual, colloquial search phrases that include landmarks or nicknames. Essentially, if you’re not a local yourself, you’ll be missing out on potential targeted traffic!

Using tools like Google Trends can provide valuable insights in this case. Here are some other tools you can use to find hyperlocal search terms:

  • Google’s “People Also Ask”
  • Local Reddit threads
  • Customer service transcripts
  • Google Trends (filtered by your city)

#5 Own Your Local Citations (Down to the Street Name)

This isn’t a new local SEO tip but nonetheless an important one. Get listed everywhere that matters, but do it well. What this means is you must provide consistent, clean formatting across all platforms.

For example, you must keep your name, address, and phone number (NAP) info aligned exactly. Even “St.” vs “Street” can mess up citation trust in Google’s eyes. With that in mind, here’s a short list of places to start putting down your name:

  • Yelp
  • Nextdoor
  • Apple Maps
  • Bing Places
  • Facebook Pages
  • Chamber of Commerce or Main Street Business Associations
  • Local newspapers or directories

#6 Encourage Hyperlocal Reviews

Yes, reviews are what we strive for every day, but now the content of those reviews plays a bigger role than ever before. Check our “Improve Google Reviews for Local SEO Rankings in 2025” blog post for more tips on that.

Right now, Google’s AI analyzes the content of your reviews and not just the rating. That means a review that says, “This is my fav brunch spot after yoga at Junction Gym,” is doing 10x more for your local visibility than “Great service, 5 stars!”

Why? Because Google reads “Junction Gym” and goes: “Aha! This place is connected to that neighborhood.” So yes, quantity matters, but quality and context matter more.

In fact, a survey from 2023 found that over 83% of customers will check a Google review before they hand over their cash to a local business. So if your GBM only has one dusty review from 2019, it’s safe to say your local business is silently bleeding potential customers.

How to Get Hyperlocal Reviews That Actually Help

  • Just ask. The #1 reason customers don’t leave a review is that no one asked them.
Don’t overthink it; train your team to ask right after a positive experience.
  • Make it stupidly easy. Send a direct link. Use a QR code on your receipts or checkout screen.
  • Prompt local details. Say, “If you have a second, feel free to mention what brought you in or what neighborhood you’re from, it helps others find us!”
  • Respond to reviews using local references, too. An example would be “So glad you stopped by after the farmer’s market! See you next Saturday?”
  • Turn reviewers into ambassadors. If someone leaves a great local review, reshare it on social with a tag, or thank them with a loyalty freebie.

It might be a slow thing, but trust the process. In time, these reviews will give Google some natural user-generated contextual signals that it so wants.

#7 Embed Local Schema Markup

Schemas are no strangers to digital business owners, but perhaps 2025 is the time to take them more seriously. A local SEO schema is essentially the behind-the-scenes code that helps Google understand your business.

If you want search engines to know you’re trying to rank for hyperlocal searches, it’s a good idea to add markup for:

  • LocalBusiness
  • PostalAddress
  • GeoCoordinates
  • OpeningHoursSpecification
  • Review
  • hasMap

This improves your odds of showing up in SGE summaries, Maps pins, and Local Packs, especially for high-intent and location-based searches.

Win Your Neighborhood’s Search Results

A Final Word

Search engines don’t just connect people to websites anymore; they connect people to places, too. And in 2025, Google is doubling down on hyperlocal results. So if you’re a small business trying to win your block and not the whole city, hopefully you got what you came here for.

Hyperlocal SEO is not just a trend. It’s a search behavior shift, and it’s changing how people find you, trust you, and choose you over chains. Focus on your actual block, your actual customers, and the real-life experience of your neighborhood. That’s how you win.

How to Create and Optimize Google Local Service Ads

How to Create and Optimize Google Local Service Ads

How to Create and Optimize Google Local Service Ads:
A Step-by-Step Guide

Curious about how Google Local Service Ads can grow your business? In this step-by-step guide, we’ll walk you through how to create and optimize your LSA account for better visibility, higher rankings, and quality leads.

If you’ve run a business for a while, you’d know that visibility isn’t just helpful! It is the most critical aspect of building a brand. That’s where Google Local Service Ads (LSAs) step in as a game-changer. LSAs are designed specifically for service-based businesses looking to connect with nearby customers and offer a direct and trusted route to the top of Google’s search results.

So, what exactly are Google LSAs?

Unlike traditional pay-per-click ads, LSAs connect you directly with potential customers who are actively searching for services in your area. When someone searches for, say, “nail salon near me,” LSAs appear at the very top of the search results, with your business name, rating, and contact button ready to go. These ads seem to be preferred by small local service providers because of the transparency of the pay-per-lead component. So, if your organic Local SEO Marketing isn’t ranking your Google Business Profile or Website at the top of search results, then we’d suggest looking into Google Guaranteed Ads.

Why is it important?

There are a couple of benefits you can expect from LSAs, including:

  • Boosted Trust: Your business can earn a Google Guaranteed badge, which significantly helps build a reputation and credibility.
  • Top-tier Visibility: LSAs appear above standard search ads.

Pay-Per-Lead, Not Per Click: You only pay when someone contacts you through the ad, not just for visibility. This means you’ll be paying money for paying ads that are viewed by audiences with the highest possibility of conversion.

Google Local Services Ads LSA for Flooring

Who can use LSAs?

Not all businesses are eligible, but many are. LSAs are available in numerous industries, including:

  • Home Services (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, roofers, house cleaners, locksmiths)
  • Real Estate (real estate agents, property managers)
  • Financial Services (tax services, accountants)
  • Legal Services (family lawyers, estate lawyers, immigration lawyers, personal injury lawyers)
  • Healthcare Services (dentists, chiropractors, therapists)
  • Pet Services (pet groomers, pet trainers)
  • Education Services (tutors, language instructors)
  • Event Services (photographers, DJs)
  • Personal Services (massage therapists, personal trainers)
  • And more…

To check if your business qualifies, visit Google’s Local Services eligibility tool.

Setting Up Your Google Local Service Ads Account

Getting started with LSAs is relatively straightforward, but each step matters.

Here’s a quick walkthrough to help you begin on the right foot:

Step 1: Create or update your Google Business Profile

If you haven’t already, set up a Google Business Profile. This isn’t just for LSAs, but for showing up in local search results in general. From here, follow these steps:

Step 2: Sign up for LSAs

Head over to the Google Local Services Ads platform to register. You’ll go through a short questionnaire to determine your eligibility.

Step 3: Complete the verification process

This step takes a bit longer, and you’ll need to be careful with the requested documents. Google takes consumer protection seriously. Depending on your industry and region, you may need to:

  • Submit background checks (for both the business owner and field workers)
  • Provide valid licenses and insurance documentation
  • Pass identity verification procedures

Step 4: Define your service area and hours

Well, this one needs no explanation. It’s just to ensure you only receive leads from areas where you operate and during times when you’re available.

Google LSA Verification

How to Craft an Effective LSA Profile?

Once your account is set up, the real work begins. From now on, your profile becomes your storefront, and you’ll need a compelling, polished profile to increase lead volume. So, here are a few tips to outshine competitor businesses:

  1. The business description is the first thing people see. Keep it friendly, honest, and concise. Focus on what sets you apart. For example, “Family-owned since 2003, we specialize in eco-friendly HVAC solutions and 24/7 emergency service.”
  2. You should always choose the most relevant service category for your business. Don’t overextend; more isn’t always better.
  3. Visuals matter! A good logo makes a lot of difference. You can also upload images of your team and recent products and services you provide. And make sure all the images are clear and high-resolution.

Don’t forget customer reviews! LSAs pull in reviews from your Google Business Profile. Ask happy clients to leave feedback and respond professionally to all reviews, even the most negative and critical ones.

How to Optimize the Ad Content?

Now that you’re live, you’ll need solid content to attract people. There’s a lot to cover on how to craft a good ad, but I’ll briefly mention some of the best practices:

  • Focus on what makes you unique! Years of experience, special certifications, or locally recognized service can all be powerful selling points.
  • Keep your message clear and to the point. Avoid jargon. Speak like your customer. For instance, “Licensed and bonded with same-day service available” works better than vague, big promises.
  • Use promotions or discounts. If you’re running any specials, like “10% off first service,” include it in your profile. Some people need something extra to take action.

Brand consistency. This might sound obvious, but lots of businesses don’t know how to get it done. The simplest way is to make sure your profile, images, and service descriptions match your Google Business Profile and website.

Google LSA Targeting Optimization

Targeting the Right Audience

Finding the right target audience is probably the most elementary principle of marketing, and yet, one of the hardest.

So, here are a few tips you can benefit from:

1. Define your geographic service area with care

Only want leads from a certain neighborhood, zip code, or city? You can set those boundaries in your account dashboard. This not only maximizes your ad dollars but also keeps your calendar full of clients you can realistically serve.

2. Job types: Be selective

Google allows you to indicate the exact services you offer. For example, if you’re a plumber who doesn’t do sewer line replacements, make sure that box isn’t checked. It’s a small but powerful filter to avoid getting irrelevant leads.

3. Focus on high-intent search behavior

LSAs are basically operating on a keyword-driven algorithm. That means Google will match you with customers who use phrases like “licensed electrician near me” or “emergency locksmith.” You don’t need to manage keywords manually (although it doesn’t hurt to do so), but being aware of what your customers search for can help shape your overall strategy.

Google LSA Location Targeting

Track Your Work and Measure the Performance

It doesn’t matter what kind of social media marketing strategy you have; If you’re not reviewing what’s working and what’s not, you can’t really expect progress.

Here’s how you do it:

Use the built-in LSA dashboard

Google makes it relatively simple to track leads, bookings, and responses. Inside your LSA dashboard, you’ll find:

  • Number of leads received
  • Customer interactions
  • Booking status

Use this information to optimize your ad content every few months.

Assess KPIs

While every business is different, the core metrics you’ll want to watch include:

  • Lead volume: How many leads are coming in per week?
  • Conversion rate: What percentage of those leads become customers?

Cost-per-lead (CPL): Are you paying a fair price for the quality of business you’re generating?

Set up call tracking

LSAs give you access to recorded calls. All you need is to define a system to analyze considerable amounts of raw data and generate actionable insights. Are staff responding quickly? Are potential customers getting the info they need?

local service ads automatic lead disputes lsa refunds
Tips for Ongoing Optimization

Building effective campaigns is the result of putting in long hours, having a solid strategy, and making constant changes to stay on top of the market. Here are 3 failproof tactics you should always perform in your ad campaign:

  • Be responsive: Fast replies = better rankings and happier customers. Try to respond to every lead within minutes when possible.
  • Refresh your profile regularly: New reviews, updated photos, and seasonal service descriptions all contribute to a dynamic and engaging profile.
  • Perform A/B tests: Change ad copies or tweak service areas to test what works best. Keep it subtle—small changes over time can yield big results.

Remember, Google’s algorithm rewards businesses that engage with their leads and maintain a healthy presence. Also, it’s good to know some of the pitfalls you should watch for:

  • Incomplete or unverified profiles hurt your visibility! Make sure your licenses, insurance, and background checks are fully submitted and approved.
  • Avoid overbidding or underbidding on leads. Plan your spending wisely, especially if you’re in a competitive market with a limited budget. Test and adjust thoughtfully based on real performance.

Avoid unrealistic geographic targeting. Aiming for too broad an area is tempting, but it can lead to low-quality leads and frustrated customers. Be honest about where you can actually serve and stick to it.

Bottom Line

Now thats how you fully Optimize Google Local Service Ads.

Google’s search results have never been more local, and LSAs put you right where your customers are looking. You don’t need a huge ad budget to stand out. All you need is a well-optimized profile, a strong reputation, and a strategy you stick with.

At Momentum, we specialize in helping small businesses turn digital tools into real-world results. Whether you’re launching LSAs for the first time or want to fine-tune an existing campaign, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

Digital Marketing for Pressure Washing Businesses

Digital Marketing for Pressure Washing Companies [FULL GUIDE]

Digital Marketing for Pressure Washing Businesses Blog and Video by Momentum Digital.

Today, we dive into an in-depth analysis of how Pressure Washing companies can effectively leverage Digital Marketing strategies.

Digital marketing is essential for growing Pressure Washing Businesses. Today, we dive into an in-depth analysis of how Pressure Washing companies can effectively leverage these strategies.

We recently conducted a full Digital Marketing audit for a Pressure Washing company, located in Connecticut. We analyzed their Website, SEO, Google and social media presence to provide insight on how their marketing can be improved.

Importance of a Google Business Profile for Your Pressure Washing SEO

We started off our business audit by analyzing this company’s Google presence. Having an optimized Google Business Profile for your Pressure Washing business is vital. For many Local Service businesses, their GBP/GMB can be what provides the most natural leads.

As a Pressure Washing Company, you must determine how customers are finding you. This is ultimately through Google Searches, so being present and constant on Google will rank your business higher and get you more leads.

When optimizing and creating a Google Business Profile, there are certain steps to making your business legit. This includes the basics like including hours, location, website, and phone number. But to make your business stand out, you must add photos/videos, have good reviews, detailed descriptions and even a virtual tour!

When we conducted the Marketing Audit for “Central Connecticut Pressure Washing” there was a major concern. Their Google Business Profile was suspended. This meant at their profile was not showing up in search results and was taken out of the listings for Google maps. When customers search on Google, they tend not to leave the first page of results. Some potential customers don’t even make it past the business listings. Luckily, for this pressure washing company, we provide services that help get businesses off of suspension and back onto search results.

Luckily for this business, when you searching “Pressure Washing Central Connecticut,” the website still ranks on the first page of results. This is very important, even if the GBP was suspended. It means the website is still reachable.

When the GBP is not suspended, we recommend several tips to ensure that your business is ranking in the Top 3 results on Google. First, we recommend that you optimize and take advantage of Google Guaranteed Ads. These are different than the normal service ads because Google Guaranteed Ads are based off of calls compared to clicks. Either way, we recommend investing in BOTH pay-per click and guaranteed ads. We will discuss Google Ads in more depth in the 3rd section of this blog.

As mentioned before, some customers will skip through these ads and go straight to Google Map Results. This being said, it is important for your company to rank in the Top 3 Results. You can achieve this by having an active Google My Business profile and website.

To achieve an active Google My Business Profile, we recommend posting weekly updates, responding to reviews, uploading pictures and videos, and staying present online. For the Website, we recommend using as many keywords and backlinks as possible to increase your domain authority. We will explain this further in the website audit section.

Pressure Washing Marketing

Website Audit

When auditing a website, the primary focus is on content. It is important to include aspects like services, benefits, value propositions and call to action buttons.

When we conducted the audit for “Center Connecticut Pressure Washing,” their website had positive and negative aspects. The website overall was decent but missed some of the basic necessary aspects that make all the difference in website ranking and traffic.

We used multiple SEO tools to analyze the website and pick out the details needed to rank higher on Google Searches.

We first looked at Ubersuggests. This looks at four main aspects; Back linking, Domain Authority, Organic keywords, and Organic Monthly traffic. When we conducted this test on the Pressure Washing website, most of their numbers were low in ranking. For instance, their domain authority was was an 8, organic keywords was 22, organic monthly traffic was 4 and their backlinks were 192.

From our Google Analysis above, we know that the company’s website is ranking on the first page of google. With such low numbers, this ultimately tells us that potential customers are now scrolling on the first page of results or they are only looking at the Google Maps results. The first and more crucial thing for this Pressure Washing Company is to get their GBP back up and ranked in the Top 3 results.

These scores also tell us that the website needs more keywords and back linking. The more of these aspects a website has, the more their domain authority will increase. This then tells Google to rank them higher on searches.

For instance, if you were to look at the Ubersuggest statistics for Momentum Digital, we have over 3,000 organic results, 15,000 keywords, over 10,000 backlinks and a domain authority of 58.  This puts our results in the top .1% of our industry, thus pushing us higher on search results.

Another SEO tool used in the website audit for Pressure Washing Businesses was the Met SEO inspector. This gives us insights on the keywords in the title, header tags, image size, and internal/external linking. The CT Pressure Washing company had a good description and links but needed to fix mobile view issues, add more diverse header tags and add image tags.

TIP: Creating individual pages for each service offered by your business is a easy way to provide content and increase engagement. This gives you the perfect opportunity to include keywords, backlinks and tags on the website and grow engagements. Similarly, having location landing pages for all the areas serviced can help dominate local search results.

One of the last, but most simple things, to do during a website audit is check the Mobile view. Whether you minimize the screen on your computer desktop or pull up the website on a mobile device, it is important to see how the website moves and works on a Mobile view. This is important because Pressure Washing Businesses tend to have audiences that look up their services on the go and call directly from Google or the website.

Boosting SEO Score

A high SEO score and domain authority indicate when a website has the potential to rank high on Google search. As discussed before, these scores can be achieved through optimizing website pages and gaining backlinks.  Our audit for the CT Pressure Washing Company showed a low domain authority and minimal organic website visitors per month. Meaning, this website is not generating as much traffic as it should.

Leverage Google Ads

When it comes to digital marketing strategies for Pressure Washing businesses, Google Ads are one of the most important steps for lead generation. Google offers two types of ads, Google Guaranteed Ads and standard Google Ads, both of which can be utilized by a Pressure Washing Companies.

Google Ads allow businesses to conduct a targeted reach by using specific keywords and demographics. This ensures that your ads are being seen by people searching for wellness services in the area. Ads also help generate top results on Google searches which gives Pressure Washing companies a greater opportunity to attract potential customers.

Google Guaranteed ads are particularly beneficial as you only pay when you receive real leads, making them an excellent return on investment. On the other hand, standard Google Ads allows selective bidding on  keywords to appear first in Google Search. This allows businesses to control their budgets and only pay for what you want.

Google Ads Marketing can be a game-changer for Pressure Washing companies seeking more leads and customers from Google. With targeted ads, businesses can reach potential customers precisely when they’re searching for “Pressure Washing near me” and much more. By selecting relevant keywords, geographic targeting, and demographics, Pressure Washing companies can showcase their expertise to the right audience.

Google Analytics for Pressure Washing Companies
Leveraging Social Media

Expanding your social media presence to platforms like Instagram and TikTok can be beneficial to build an engaging and trustworthy brand. Potential clients might want to check out your social profiles for pictures or videos of your Pressure Washing service.

Social Media opens a new avenue of opportunities in the marketing world. It can make or break businesses. When we conducted the social media audit for the Central Connecticut Pressure Washing, we had a hard time locating their socials. There was no links on their websites or Google business profile, making it hard to connect a social media account to the actual business. After finding, what we believe, is the correct social we determined that their social media presence is not where it should be. For future recommendations, and this goes for all Pressure Washing Companies, it is important to have good and consistent content, reels, photos, carousel posts and advertisements across all social platforms.

Not sure where to start? Don’t worry about being perfect. You can find what other successful Pressure Washing businesses are posting for photos and videos on social media and copy their playbook by recreating that content for your social media marketing.

5 Additional Digital Marketing Ideas for Pressure Washing Companies

  1. Targeted Advertising: Use keyword and geographic targeting on Google, GMB, Yelp and Bing for your business. Pick specific areas and neighborhoods that you know will want and can afford your pressure washing services.
  2. Social Media Marketing: Use platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Nextdoor to showcase before-and-after photos of your pressure washing projects, share customer testimonials, and offer promotions or discounts. Digital Marketing for Wellness Centers and Spas

Digital Marketing for Wellness Centers and Spas Blog and Video by Momentum Digital.

Today, we dive into an in-depth analysis of how Wellness Centers and Spa companies can effectively leverage Digital Marketing strategies.

Digital Marketing Strategies for Wellness Centers and Spas

Digital marketing is an essential role for growing Wellness Centers and Spas. Today, let’s delve into an in-depth analysis of how a Wellness Center and Spa company can effectively leverage these strategies.

We recently conducted a full Digital Marketing audit for a Wellness Center company, located in Florida. We analyzed their website, metrics, and social media presence, and provided insight on how their marketing can be improved.

Auditing the Website

When auditing a website, the primary focus is on its content. It is key to include aspects like services, benefits, value propositions and call to action buttons. When we conducted the audit for the Florida Wellness Center, their website missed a lot of these points. The website overall was what we call “bare bones.” In other words, they didn’t have much information on the home page, or website in general.

We used multiple SEO tools to analyze the website and pick out the details that help rank higher on Google Searches.

We first looked at Ubersuggests. This looks at four main aspects; Back linking, Domain Authority, Organic keywords, and Organic Monthly traffic. When we conducted this SEO run on the Wellness and Spa website, most of their numbers resulted in zeros. This tells us at the website is basically new and needs a lot of revisions.

Another important SEO tool used in the website audit for Wellness Centers and Spa was the Met SEO inspector. This gives us insights on the keywords in the title, header tags, image size, and internal/external linking. When we looked at the Florida Wellness Center, their descriptions were over 170 characters (the average limit). They also had no header tags and their images needed to be compressed in size. Their website also had little to no internal/external links which makes it even more difficult to find in search results.

This is important because Wellness Businesses and Spas are a type of service that audiences may look up on the go, so ensuring that the mobile version works is important.

Boosting SEO Score

A high SEO score and domain authority indicate when a website has the potential to rank high on Google search. As discussed before, these scores can be achieved through optimizing website pages and gaining backlinks.  Our audit of the Wellness Center and Spa showed a low domain authority and minimal organic website visitors per month. Meaning, this website is not ranking high, and no one searching on Google is seeing it. This will need work in order to generate leads through Google Search.

The Importance of a Google Business Profile

Having an optimized Google Business Profile for your Home Contracting business is vital. For many Local Service businesses, their GBP can be what provides the most natural leads.

When optimizing and creating a Google Business Profile, there are several aspects that must stand out to make your business legit. Digital Marketing Strategies for Home Contractors

Digital marketing is an essential role for scaling a Home Contracting business. Today, let’s delve into an in-depth analysis of how a home contracting company can effectively leverage these strategies.

We recently conducted a full Digital Marketing audit for a home contracting company, located in New Jersey. We analyzed their website, metrics, and social media presence, and provided insight on how their marketing can be improved.

Auditing the Website

When auditing a website, the primary focus is on its content. The quantity and quality of the site’s content significantly impact its Google search ranking. For our New Jersey contractor, we noticed the website’s content was sparse, which provides limited opportunities for ranking in Google search results. Remember, if your website doesn’t have a lot of useful and engaging content, you won’t be able to rank for keywords related to your business, which  will reduce the traffic from Google. A website filled with relevant and appealing content is crucial step for  digital marketing strategies for home contractors.

Creating individual pages for each service offered by your business is a basic way to provide content and increase engagement. This not only gives potential clients detailed information about each service but also provides an opportunity to rank for additional keywords. Similarly, having location landing pages for all the areas serviced can help dominate local search results.

The Importance of a Google Business Profile

Having an optimized Google Business Profile for your Home Contracting business is vital. For many Local Service businesses, their GBP can be what provides the most natural leads. This is why its important to have a consistently updated profile with glowing 5 star reviews.  In our audit, this business had a limited landscape—there was a lack of extensive descriptions, Google posts, photo/video content, and keywords. Improving these areas will not only improve their Local SEO, it will also provide potential clients with details, pictures and reviews to influence them to give your business a call.

The platform’s performance tracking enables businesses to optimize campaigns in real-time, fine-tuning strategies for maximum results. With Google Ads, home contractors can increase visibility, drive qualified traffic, and ultimately convert more leads into satisfied customers.

Climbing the Google Local Search Results Ladder

Getting your business to appear in the top three Google local search results (3-pack) is a game-changer. Most search traffic gravitates towards these top 3 listings. So, if your business isn’t in the top three, you’re missing out on most of the market on Google. Fortunately, with frequent Google posts, photos, content, reviews, and keywords, your spot in the 3-pack can be achieved.

We can’t stress enough the important of ranking your GBP profile with reviews and content as a key aspect to Digital Marketing for Home Contractors in this day-and-age.

Boosting SEO Score

A high SEO score and domain authority indicate when a website has the potential to rank high on Google search. These scores can be achieved through optimizing website pages and gaining backlinks.  Our audit of the Home Contracting business showed a low domain authority and minimal organic website visitors per month. Meaning, this website is not ranking high, and no one searching on Google is seeing it. This will need work in order to generate leads through Google Search.
