Verifiy Your New GMB Profile
So now you have submitted your GMB listing to get verified, but how do you actually Verify Your Google My Business Profile? Well, it’s very easy and can be done a few ways if you submitted your listing request to get a postcard. However, if Google does not send a postcard, you may have other ways to verify your new GMB listing to get registered on Google and Google Maps.
You MUST get verified for customers to find you when searching. Other ways to be verified include the following options.
- Postcard in the mail with confirmation code — Easily the most common
- Phone call verification (They will call the business number listed on GMB)
- Text verification code (They will text the business number listed on GMB)
- Email verification code (They will email the business number listed on GMB)
- Video verification (rare) — Take video proof showing business (typically only seen on suspensions)
Let us know if we can help with this process in any way of setting up or verifying your business on Google so you can get more customers.
This should only take a few days to get the postcard. If the postcard is not an option, or they allow you to bypass that option, then revert to these other methods listed above and in the YouTube video above.
