Vesper Sporting Club Marketing Video with Small Business Saturday
Learn more about Vesper Sporting Club in Philadelphia with this Small Business Saturday Marketing Video.
The Vesper Club, as it was originally known, opened it’s doors in 1941 as one of the most exclusive and highly-sought after social clubs in the city. There you could find anyone; from some of Philadelphia’s most notorious MOB bosses, musicians, actors, and even a politician or two. As the years passed, social clubs like the Downtown Club, the Alpha Club, and the Locust Club came and went, however Vesper remained.
That is until 2012 when the property was in such dire need of repairs that the Members decided to move the location across the street to what is now the Racquet Club. Enter Tim Lu and his team. Determined to replenish the once illustrious Vesper Club to its old glory, Tim restored the building and bar back to the original 1940’s look, but added a little 2017 flair.
Vesper Sporting Club is now one of the hottest ‘new’ bars in Philly. This upscale sports bar boasts multiple 4K ‘mega screens’ as well as a unique, full dinner menu. It has an intimate, speakeasy feel with all the amenities of cutting edge restaurants/bar. The idea, according to Tim, is to take the excitement from the big game and roll that right into a wild and crazy night.
But just wait, they’ve got much more in store. Vesper is also unveiling their Saturday and Sunday themed brunches that start at 11 am and go all the way until 7 pm. Don’t miss this coming Saturday when they will honor the late, great Hugh Hefner with Brunch Drunk Love: Bottles and Bunnies. So even if you’re not feeling that hungry, you MUST stop by to see the beautiful Vesper Vixens in the iconic Playboy bunny ears! Philadelphia has definitely been missing a venue you like this!
